On Kittens and Manicures

Miss Bella helped me in a little hand modeling today. She's doing okay, still with the runny poop and for now we are just hanging in there, as she shows no other signs of problems and hope she grows out of it. Sigh, stinky poop.

As for my manicure, this was copied from a great 30's era Joan Crawford picture I found the other day. Back in those days, nail polish formulas were much different and the polish did not wear as well. It was common for the entire nail not to be painted and often a sliver of polish removed from the end. My grandmother used to do that to my nails when she painted them for me when I was in high school.

But this is more typical of a modern french manicure, except the end is left natural. I love it! I used french manicure guides (the stick on kind) and it did take a while longer than a usual manicure, but the results are cool. It should make my manicure last longer as well.
