Catchy Number!

Mr Inky and I had a lovely day at the flea market and visiting the quaint town of Los Alamos to do a bit of antique browsing.

Hartwick Tavern Pin Up Ashtray - located in Hartwick, Iowa and apparently once owned by Clarence Debner - I found this info via google:

MARBLE ROCK -- Clarence W. Debner, 78, of Marble Rock, died Friday, July 13, 2001, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital, Charles City, of natural causes; survivors include his wife, Helen; three daughters, Linda Debner of Marble Rock, Kim Nelson of Marengo and Joan Wright of Holmen, Wis.; five grandchildren; a brother, Dean of Greene; and three sisters, Viola Keith of Marble Rock, Della Van Fleet of Cedar Falls and Marlene Gerholdt of Waterloo; services 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with burial in Westside Cemetery, both in Marble Rock; graveside military rites will be conducted by Stroud-Gates Post 387 American Legion of Marble Rock; friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reid's Funeral Chapel, Marble Rock, where there will be a 7 p.m. Scripture service, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church; memorials may be directed to the family; a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Debner farmed in the Marble Rock, Greene and Colwell areas for many years; he was former owner of Hartwick Tap in Hartwick and a plumbing and tiling business in Belle Plaine.

Don't Deny A Hungry Girl

I have been MIA for too long, dear readers, and I'm sorry. All is well here at Casa de Inky. We had a lovely week long vacation in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area that I need to chronicle for my blog - I hope I won't bore you too much with it.

And just so this isn't a boring post, here we are last night at a BBQ fundraiser for Jack's Helping Hand.
